#2 PC Mag listed 20 free tools that small businesses will love and should be using today.

Our favorite tool on the list: Join.me for free video conferencing solution that lets you invite participants, screen share, and supports up to five video feeds. Great for screen sharing for a demo or training session.

Some of our favorites are: Canva is a free graphic-design tool. It uses a drag-and-drop format and provides access to over a million photographs, graphics, and fonts. It is used by non-designers as well as professionals. The tools can be used for both web and print media design and graphics.

Hubspot’s Marketing Grader is a tool that gives you an overall grade on a scale from 1-100, then digs in and checks your site against metrics in five categories: Blogging; Social Media; SEO; Lead Generation; Mobile. Each category has a checklist that you can use to improve your site.

#4 Last, but certainly not least, Small Biz Trends, one of the most popular online small business publications, has compiled an amazing list of 50 free marketing tools.

Our favorites include: CoSchedule which has tools to help you write better headlines to drive traffic and search results to your website as well as online content. Try their headline analyzer tool.

Also try their social message optimizer and email subject tester.

Google Keyword Planner is a keyword research tool that allows you to find the right keywords to target for a variety of ads such as display, search, video and app ads.

Google Alerts can help you monitor the Web for interesting new content. It can help you keep track of trends, topics, your competition being mentioned in the news and so much more.

Ubersuggest is a tool that helps you find more keyword ideas for SEO and PPC. You can see volume, competition, and seasonal trends for each keyword.

Not on the list, but definitely worth mentioning, Moz offers a few free SEO tools for link building and analysis, keyword research, webpage performance, and more.

Bottom line, there are many free software tools for small businesses that can help them do more when resources are scarce and time is limited.
